Guided imagery or visualization practices use scenes or images to help you relax, cope with stress or fear, boost your mood, or feel more at ease. While guided imagery practices may not work for everyone, they help some people unwind, disconnect, and even feel more empowered.


The secret to this kind of practice is the brain's ability to use all five senses while associating emotions and thoughts with specific grounding images.
