It honors the Indigenous peoples who have cared for these lands and waters for generations, while acknowledging the ongoing impacts of colonial history. For Reyou Consulting, this is not a passive ceremony—it is a commitment to accountability that informs how leadership is practiced, how strategy is built, and how organizations navigate shared futures.
Locating Ourselves in Treaty Territory - Reyou's Acknowledgement
Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Reyou Consulting provides on-site advisory services across Manitoba and virtual engagements nationwide.
Operations take place on Treaty 1 territory—the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the national homeland of the Red River Métis. Clean water supporting these operations is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in Treaty 3 territory.
As an immigrant, Black, and woman-owned practice, Reyou is dedicated to understanding its role within the ongoing history of these lands. Principles of reconciliation, respect, and continuous learning are embedded directly into all workshop facilitation, governance advisory, and strategic planning practices.
